The best value supermarket prosecco in 2019 revealed

06 August 2019

With National Prosecco Day fast approaching (August 13th), vouchercloud.com has pulled together the best value prosecco from the UK’s leading supermarkets. Analysing 149 bottles from 11 stores, we’ve discovered which bottles of fizz give the best bang for your buck, and which fall flat.

So what's the price of prosecco by the glass this year? Sitting smooth at the top of the rankings this year is Aldi at 83p per measure - one of three supermarkets to offer a glass of prosecco for under £1. In second and third place respectively, we see Lidl and Morrisons - both offering a glass of the good stuff for just 92 pence.
It would seem that other retailers got last year’s hint about a prosecco price war where just four of the major supermarkets offered a measure for £1 and under. This year, eleven of the largest supermarkets - from Lidl and Asda, to Aldi and Tesco, sit in that sweet spot.
