Best Champagne deals | the cheapest Champagne supermarket offers

We Brits love Champagne. The popping of corks, the clinking of glasses, the sweet fizz of those bubbles. It's the ultimate way to celebrate a special occasion — even if the occasion is that it's Friday night.

British people love Champagne so much that shipments of the fine fizz hit 29 million bottles in 2021, which is remarkable considering the, ahem, challenging times we're living in.

To celebrate this Champagne revival, vouchercloud unveils the best Champagne deals across your favourite major retailers as well as where to get the best value on Bollinger, Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot and a host of other offers on big-name brands. If you're looking for cheap Champagne, you've come to the right place.

So where can you find the best supermarket Champagne offers overall? We've done the digging and it's Lidl’s Comte de Senneval Champagne that clocks in at a record-breaking £13.99 per 75cl bottle — a deal which works out at £3.36 per 180ml glass. If you're looking for the Champagne lifestyle on a lemonade budget, Lidl Champagne will do the trick.

Joint second place goes to ASDA Champagne offers, Tesco Champagne offers, and Ocado with its M&S Champagne deals, all competitively priced at £15 per 75cl bottle or £3.60 per glass.

However, we have to single out ASDA’s Henri Cachet Champagne Brut as the best value for money as it has won the International Wine Challenge Silver Award, the IWSC Bronze Winner, and the Decanter World Wine Awards Bronze, all in 2022. This Champagne isn't just great value — it's delicious!

Best Champagne deals | cheapest supermarket Champagne offers

Our research found some serious price discrepancies across different retailers — showing how important it is to shop around for a good Champagne deal. While some brands like Veuve Clicquot Champagne don’t have much variation between retailers, you could save substantially on others like Moët.

Not only did we compare the best Champagne offers in supermarkets, but we also explored the best Champagne brands on Amazon too. The verdict? We found that Tesco's champagne offers and Sainsbury’s champagne deals provide the best value for money when it comes to big brands, thanks to their frequent ‘buy six or more bottles for a 25% discount’.

However, if you’re just after one bottle of bubbly, you’d be best off shopping at Amazon where you could save up to £10 on your Bollinger Champagne price!

Tips for getting the best Champagne deals and offers

When it comes to getting the best offers on Champagne, there are a number of tips we can recommend:

  1. Try vouchercloud discounts. We specialise in bringing you great value deals on everything and Champagne is no exception. The vouchercloud food and drinks vouchers page is full of great discounts and ways to save on your next bottle or two. We'd also recommend visiting our Amazon discount codes page as well as our supermarket vouchers page to find the best deals.

  2. Wait for a big occasion. Celebration days throughout the year often bring with them Champagne deals. In the weeks leading up to Christmas, New Year's, Valentine's, Mother's and Father's Day you'll find big deals on the fizzy stuff. Always think a few steps ahead!

  3. Shop around. As our research shows, the same bottle can vary in price, sometimes by a little, sometimes by a lot. So be smart and compare prices online before you commit to a purchase.

  4. Buy in bulk. Lots of outlets give you a discount when you buy multiple bottles like Sainsbury's and Tesco! Every little helps.
