Dudley Zoo is far more than a regular zoo. There are over 400 acres of zoological gardens to explore and eight separate collections of creatures, including primates, cats, reptiles, amphibians, and even spiders. Dudley Zoo is heavily involved in world conservation efforts and many of the animal collections are linked to important breeding programs. The zoo takes education very seriously and you will learn a great deal about the animal residents when you visit Dudley Zoo.
There are daily feeding times and special activities associated with each animal collection, so plan your trip accordingly! You can check the zoo map before you arrive and work out where you want to visit first. Don’t forget to take your camera so you can capture some fantastic photos of your new animal friends. School groups are welcome at Dudley Zoo. The zoo runs education packages and tours to educate children about animal conservation and the importance of looking after endangered animals. The zoo also runs a range of different experiences for guests. You can be a zoo keeper for the day, celebrate your birthday in the zoo, or even propose to your beloved!
