After one of the wettest winters in recorded history in Pembrokeshire, Wales, Simon and Amanda Meyrick opened The Dinosaur Park in their home town of Tenby in 1994. A family owned business with the family actually working in the park, it’s no surprise that as soon as you set foot through the gates, there’s a community feel in the park.
The idea behind the park came from the hugely popular blockbuster Jurassic Park, which was released the year before the park opened. Although the owners laugh that they haven’t had any of the problems experienced in Jurassic Park, they are still going strong twenty years down the line and have had many new additions to their dinosaur team since then.
Make use of your Dinosaur Park discount code and walk along the Dinosaur Trail where visitors can meet various species of dinosaurs along the way. There are also rides to take little ones around the park, indoor and outdoor play areas, a hugely educational and fun information centre, activities such as T-Rex twelve hole golf and a family café for you all to enjoy hearty food after a day filled with fun activities. Along with this, you can visit the dinosaur shop, where you’ll find plenty of cute stuffed toys, dinosaur novelty items and much more to take home with you as a souvenir of your visit.
